Link Tasks

Want to group related tasks under one main task?

With Drutas, you can link tasks to a parent task, keeping related tasks connected and organized. This enhances overall productivity and efficiency. You can easily link subtasks, child tasks, and related tasks, making one task the parent of others to streamline the project flow.

To add a task as Child of, Parent of and Related to Task, you can follow the below steps:

  • Scroll to the bottom of the task sidebar page and click the ‘Link Task’ option, shown below:
  • Click the ‘Link Task’ button and use the search function to find the task you want to connect.

  • Once you’ve located the task, click on it to reveal three linking options: “Child of,” “Parent of,” and “Related to” shown below:

  • Select the appropriate option to establish the desired relationship between the tasks.
  • After making your selection, a separate grid will appear, confirming that the task has been successfully linked to the main task, shown below:

  • You can also choose to delink the task you just linked, shown below:

  •  Once you confirm the delink option, the grid will disappear, indicating that the task has been successfully delinked.
  • You can also add a subtask to a parent task and later convert the subtask into a standalone task by clicking the Add Subtask button from the same grid as shown above
