Enhance Task Sidebar Descriptions: Tag Users & Use Smart Chips

The task sidebar enables efficient management of task descriptions, allowing users to easily edit and save changes. The description field features tools for enhancing text and interactivity, including a drawing icon, object insertion, printing, and PDF export, shown below:

The drawing icon enables users to draw in the task sidebar’s description field, edit diagrams, add images, and resize them easily, icon shown below:

You can tag any user across the organization, enhancing visibility and collaboration. Additionally, smart chips allow you to effortlessly insert key details like dates and times, eliminating the need to input these features manually.

To tag a user, press “@” in the task sidebar description. A pop-up will appear with a list of users, and you can search for specific users using the search bar, shown below:

After tagging a user with “@”, you can use smart chips, located below the user selection, to quickly add the date and time, date selection has been shown below:

After tagging a user with “@”, they will not be notified; their name simply appears in the description. Similarly, the selected time remains in place without sending any alerts.
